From East Coast to West Coast
Growing up in South Florida, and spending a lot of time in Ashville, North Carolina, Brian acquired his first Led Zeppelin CD at 10 years old, and immediately started learning guitar. After playing in several bands in Florida throughout high school and college, Brian joined the Navy and was sent to San Diego, California. He served as a corpsman in the ER at Balboa hospital, then was transferred to be a combat medic for the Marines on Camp Pendleton. Recently having left the armed forces, Brian continues to play shows all over Southern California as a solo artist and with his cover band The Knockouts.
Diverse Inspiration
Initially exposed to gospel music as a child and singing in the church choir, Brian's taste of music changed drastically when he began listening to classic rock. His interests range from classical, jazz, and blues, all the way to modern pop and hip hop, but most of his inspiration is drawn from the artists he emulates. These artists include The Eagles, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Dave Matthews, John Mayer, Slash, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Zach Bryan, Brad Paisley, and many more.
Looking to the Future
Since leaving the military, Brian has been focusing on writing and developing his unique style. He is currently spending time in the studio working on several new singles and a full length album.
